The registration email
The single most important item. Ask whether the original registration email is included and whether it has ever been recovered. Without it, a previous owner can reclaim the account later.
OSRS accounts
Buying an account skips thousands of hours of training — and carries the most risk of anything on this marketplace. Escrow holds your payment through the entire handover, and the order chat keeps every promise the seller made in writing. Read the checklist below before you confirm anything.
Each listing describes the account's stats, progress and what is included in the handover. Ask for anything missing in the order chat before confirming.
Buyer's checklist
The single most important item. Ask whether the original registration email is included and whether it has ever been recovered. Without it, a previous owner can reclaim the account later.
Confirm total level, combat level and the specific skills you care about. Ask for a fresh screenshot rather than relying on the listing image.
Quest points, key unlocks and achievement diary tiers decide what content you can actually access. Check the ones that matter for your plans.
Ask how long membership runs, what is in the bank, and whether that bank value is part of the price or being removed before handover.
Ask about previous bans, mutes and whether the account has been sold before. A clean history is worth paying more for.
Change the password, and the registration email where included, before you confirm. Only confirm once you hold every credential.
Handover
Your payment moves into escrow. Nothing reaches the seller yet.
Use the order chat to work through the checklist above. Written answers stay attached to the order.
Take the credentials, then immediately change the password and email, and set up your own authenticator.
Only once you are fully in control and the details match the listing, confirm to release the payout.
This is the highest-risk category on the site
Ask the seller for total level and combat level, quest and diary completion, membership status, bank value, and — most importantly — whether the original registration email is included and unrecovered. Ask in the order chat before you confirm delivery.
The seller passes the login and, where offered, the registration email through the order chat. Change every credential immediately, then confirm delivery once you have full control of the account.
Account trading breaches Jagex's terms of service. Accounts can be recovered by a previous owner or banned by Jagex, and Escrowden cannot reverse either. Escrow protects the payment, not the account.
Yes, as long as you have not confirmed delivery. Open a dispute from the order page and the escrow release is paused pending review.
