Sell OSRS gold without wearing the chargeback

The problem with selling gold is not finding a buyer. It is that you hand over something irreversible and get paid in something that can be reversed weeks later. That asymmetry is what this platform is built to remove.

What you get

  • The money is already held before you trade

Placing an order moves the buyer's funds out of their balance into an escrow hold. You can see the order is funded before you log in. You are never delivering against a promise.

  • Your first three sales are free

No commission at all on your first three completed sales — you keep everything the buyer paid. After that it is a flat 5%, with no listing fees, no subscription and no withdrawal charge. A listing that never sells costs you nothing either way.

  • Paid on buyer confirmation

The moment the buyer confirms delivery, the money lands in your balance. There is no holding period, no rolling reserve and no waiting to see whether a payment sticks.

  • Disputes freeze, they do not reverse

A buyer opening a dispute pauses the release for review. It does not hand your money back to them, and there is no bank behind them able to take it unilaterally.

How a sale actually goes

You get verified once, then publish a listing with your price per 1M and how much stock you have. Buyers compare on price per 1M, so quoting in that unit is what gets you compared at all.

When someone orders, their payment moves into escrow and an order chat opens between the two of you. Agree a world and a meeting point there — the Grand Exchange on a members world is the usual choice — and complete an ordinary in-game trade.

The buyer confirms delivery and the money moves to your balance, minus the 5%. You withdraw from there to whichever payout method you have saved.

Keep every agreement in the order chat. It is attached to the order and it is the record a reviewer reads if anything is disputed. A conversation on Discord is not, which is exactly why the buyers who want to move there want to move there.

Pricing so you actually sell

The rate moves with how much gold is looking for a buyer that week, with what other sellers are doing, and with the payment rail. There is no fixed market price and anyone quoting one is describing their own.

Deep undercutting is a trap. It attracts the buyers hunting for a price too good to be honest — the ones most likely to be trouble — and it drags your own margin down for volume you would probably have got anyway. Competing on stock depth and fast, reliable delivery is better business.

Sellers with large blocks available generally price a little lower per 1M and still do better, because a buyer wanting 500M would rather place one order than five, and will pay slightly more for that convenience.

What we ask of you

Identity verification before you list: a government document and a selfie holding it, reviewed by a human. You must be 18, and the check has to be done by whoever owns the account. It exists so buyers are trading with someone who has staked a real identity, and it is what the verified badge on your listings means.

It is asked for once, up front, rather than sprung on you at your first withdrawal. We would rather tell you now than after you have sourced the gold.

Deliver what was ordered, in the amount ordered. Sell gold you obtained by playing. Gold bought with someone else's payment card attracts attention to everyone downstream of it, including you.

Before you can list

  • An account here, which is free to create.
  • Identity verification: a government document and a selfie holding it, reviewed by hand. You must be at least 18.
  • A payout method saved — crypto, Skrill, Payoneer or SEPA bank transfer.
  • Gold you actually hold and can deliver promptly when an order arrives.

Your first three sales are free — then 5%, and nothing else

No commission until your fourth completed sale. No listing fees, no subscription and no withdrawal charge, and a listing that never sells costs you nothing. Full breakdown.

Questions

Common questions

How much does it cost to sell OSRS gold here?

Nothing on your first three completed sales — you keep the full amount. From the fourth, a flat 5% commission deducted from your payout, and nothing else: no listing fees, no subscription, no withdrawal charge, and nothing at all if a listing does not sell.

Can a buyer charge back after I deliver?

Not against you. The buyer funds an escrow hold before you trade, so the money is already out of their control when you deliver. Their route to a refund is a dispute, which pauses the release for review rather than reversing it automatically.

When do I get paid?

When the buyer confirms delivery. The amount lands in your balance immediately, less the 5%, and you withdraw from there. No holding period and no rolling reserve.

Do I need to send photo ID?

Yes, before you can list anything. Every seller verifies with a government document — passport, driving licence or national ID card — and a selfie holding it. You must be at least 18, and the check has to be completed by the person who owns the account.

How quickly does verification get approved?

It is reviewed by a person, not automatically. Submit an unexpired document with all four corners visible and a selfie where both your face and the document are readable, and there is usually nothing to go back and forth about. You will see the decision on the Sell page.
