Price per 1M GP
Gold is priced per million so offers are directly comparable. Divide any bundled price by the millions on offer before judging whether it is actually cheap.
OSRS gold
Gold is the most traded thing in Old School RuneScape and the easiest place to get burned — almost every scam happens at the handover, when one side has to send first. Here the money leaves your wallet into an escrow hold the moment you order, and reaches the seller only when you confirm the GP landed in your account.
Every listing shows its price per 1M GP and how much stock is left, so you can compare offers directly rather than guessing.

A seller with the full amount in stock can usually deliver in one trade. Large orders split across several trades take longer and mean more meet-ups.
Verified sellers have proved their identity with a government document, checked by a person. Each listing also shows the seller's completed sales, so weigh a low price against how new the seller is.
Gold prices track supply and demand — new content, bond prices and bans all shift them. A rate well under everything else on the page deserves a question in chat first.
Delivery
Top up your wallet, then order against the listing. The amount moves straight into an escrow hold.
Use the order chat to pick a world and a spot — the Grand Exchange is the usual choice.
Meet the seller in game and accept the trade. Count the GP in the trade window before you accept.
Only once the gold is in your account, confirm delivery. That releases the payout to the seller.
Know the risk before you buy
Sellers set their own price per 1M GP, so the rate moves with supply and demand. Every gold listing shows its price per 1M alongside available stock, so you can compare offers side by side before ordering.
Delivery is a normal in-game trade. After you place the order, you and the seller agree a world and Grand Exchange meeting point in the order chat, then complete the trade. Your payment stays in escrow until you confirm delivery.
Only after you confirm delivery on the order page. Until then the funds sit in a wallet-backed escrow hold, and the seller cannot withdraw them.
Do not confirm delivery. Open a dispute from the order page instead — Escrowden flags the order for review, and your payment stays in escrow until the dispute is resolved.
Real-world trading breaches Jagex's terms of service and can result in account action. Escrowden provides payment protection between buyer and seller, but it cannot protect your game account from Jagex enforcement. Decide with that in mind.
