What the service involves
A fire cape service is someone completing the Fight Caves on your account and leaving you with the cape. In practice that means the seller logs into your account, runs the waves, kills TzTok-Jad and logs out. Most runs take somewhere around an hour of play once started, though the scheduling around it is usually the longer part.
Some sellers offer it at low combat levels or on specific builds, which is a genuinely different job and priced accordingly — a fire cape on a low-defence pure is a harder run than one on a well-geared main, and the listings reflect that. If your account is unusual, say so before booking rather than after.
What the seller needs, and what they should not
This is an account-access service. The seller needs your login to run the caves, and there is no version of it that does not involve that. What they should not need is your registration email, your bank PIN, or anything that lets them take the account rather than borrow it.
Before booking, set the account up to limit exposure: bank what you are not willing to lose, make sure the bank PIN is set and not shared, and be ready to change your password the moment the job is confirmed done. A seller worth using will expect all of this and will not push back on it.
Agree the specifics in the order chat — gear the seller expects you to provide, when they plan to run it, and what happens if the run fails. Everything said there is attached to the order and visible if the order is ever reviewed. Nothing agreed on Discord is.
How payment is protected
The booking amount leaves your wallet into an escrow hold when you place the order. The seller can see it is funded but cannot withdraw it. They only get paid when you confirm the cape is on the account.
So the sequence that protects you is: book, hand over access, seller runs it, you log in and see the cape, you change your password, then you confirm. Confirming before you have personally logged in and looked is the one step people get wrong, and it is the step that cannot be taken back.
If the run fails — and Jad does kill people — what happens next should have been agreed in the chat up front. Most sellers will re-run it. If a seller disappears instead, do not confirm; open a dispute and the escrow release freezes.
Before you book a fire cape
- Bank anything you are not willing to lose, and check your bank PIN is set.
- Agree in the order chat who supplies gear and supplies for the run.
- Agree what happens if the run fails before it starts, not after.
- Never share your registration email — a service needs to borrow the account, not own it.
- Log in, see the cape, change your password, then confirm delivery.
Worth knowing before you buy
Account sharing breaches Jagex's terms of service, and an account that has been accessed by someone else is not something escrow can restore. Escrow protects the payment only. If your account is one you could not stand to lose, this is not the service for you.
